hi there! today is monday and a rather special one because papa hunny is spending the day with us...a whole day in taipei! so, they had breakfast together in the hotel lounge after i had my breakfast of apricots and cornflakes. when we came back up to our room, we had to pack our stuff and check out of the "pretty and white" hotel. a really nice hotel...my papa hunny made a very good choice! i love him so much! mummy told daddy that we should do taipei 101 first because it would be very hot at the 2nd place we were going to visit. they decided to stroll to the mrt stop and get the mrt to the taipei city hall stop. when we got there, we walked for about 15mins and reached taipei 101 just before noon. it is not really safe to be outside between 12-3pm. i would have been on fire...literally! so, daddy got our tickets to go up to the 89F...the lift is the fastest one in the world...btw...101 is NOT the tallest building in the world...dubai beat taipei a few days ago! anyways, the lift was super fast and wicked...i even felt my bunny ears popping a bit but i didn't fuss at all. so exciting!!! amazing!!! then, papa paid an extra 100nt$ each for us to go up to the 91st floor! the view was GREAT...so beautiful! and there weren't any people up there...a couple were leaving when we got there and when we were about to leave, another couple joined us. when we finished with the 89F...daddy wrote and sent us a cute postcard there and after taking enough pictures, we saw a whole lot of people...must be the tours! at around 2, downstairs on the 5F, mummy and daddy fed me my fruit puree and then they ate at the food court...hainanese chicken. in the late afternoon, we got a taxi to the taiwan democracy memorial hall. its new name. do you remember it changed its name the last time we went to taipei and we were going to go last time so that is why we had to go this time. can you believe it...it's still so hot so imagine the heat earlier...crazy! we ran out of battery in both cameras so we headed off to catch the taxi to collect our luggage at the hotel and then to the bus
station to go back to taichung. i was so tired that i slept on mummy's tummy throughout the 2 hour trip like a good bunny should! once in taichung my parents bought their "pig trotters packed dinner" before getting another cab home. once home, i had my bath and milk...what a wonderful trip to taipei...lovely memories! thank-you hunny and bunny...i love you....zzzzzz
